So what’s new on Citroen’s Geneva Motor Show stand? Citroen has gone in big with its new C5 Touring estate, which arrives in the UK in June, two months after the saloon’s debut. After the hideously ugly current model, the new estate is a seriously good-looking car.
Porsche Panamera with the new Sport Design Pack
The Porsche Panamera has the same problem all Porsches have – it’s easy to admire but quite hard to love. And it goes further for the Panamera because it has to suffer the same sniping about its looks as its SUV sibling, the Porsche Cayenne. But Porsche aren’t losing sleep over the constant jibes about the ugly ducklings in their range.
Starting in April, Volkswagen of America will launch a test fleet of battery-powered E-Golf cars in select metro areas. More selective than the BMW ActiveE program that included 700 drivers, Volkswagen will release only 20 EVs, 12 of which will be allocated to company employees. Volkswagen said in a release that the purpose of the test is to conduct research and gather information on driving patterns, electric performance and climate conditions.
